Kate Hoffmann
Kate Hoffmann founded SMART Reviews after seeing a problem that too many firms simply accepted as part of doing business. Her career began in clinical medicine as a healthcare professional before she earned a degree in legal services and went on to work at both a large mass tort defense firm and a respected plaintiff firm. That background gave her a comprehensive understanding of how mass tort claims are scrutinized from every perspective.
While working on the plaintiff side, Kate saw that even outstanding firms struggled to give every claimant the time and attention needed to properly develop a case. As dockets grew, thorough validation became increasingly difficult. She founded SMART Reviews to bridge that gap, giving law firms a dedicated partner to validate claims, detect fraud, and complete the intensive case work-up that allows attorneys to stay focused on litigation.
